"Pop-Up" Flowers on a Cookie (Tutorial)

Here's a cool way to make flowers "pop" on a cookie.

Start by

outline and flooding

the cookie base and immediately adding

wet-on-wet flowers and stems.

Wait at least 30 minutes and then add stems randomly over the original ones.

Allow the cookie to dry for a few hours.

Using

edible glaze molding clay

, mold some flowers that will fit well on the cookie.

This mold

and

this mold

were used for the flowers below.

Freeze the clay for at least 15 minutes,

pop them out of the molds, and then press them on to the top of the stems.

(The clay will dry onto the cookie and stay attached.)
